Velra Booking ("Velra", "we", "us") operates a marketplace and business management platform that connects customers with service businesses such as salons, spas, barbershops and independent professionals. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address and password when you create an account.
• Booking information — services booked, appointment times, staff selected, and any notes you provide.
• Business information — for business owners: business name, address, phone, services, pricing, staff details and branding assets.
• Payment information — payments are processed by our payment partners; Velra does not store full card numbers.
• Usage information — pages visited, features used and device type, used to improve the product.
• Push notifications — with your permission, we send booking confirmations, reminders, and waitlist alerts via push notifications.

How we use your information

• To create and manage bookings between customers and businesses.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders and service-related notifications.
• To help businesses manage their calendars, staff, clients and sales.
• To improve, secure and troubleshoot the platform.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing with businesses

When you book with a business on Velra, we share the details needed to fulfill your appointment — your name, contact details, and booking history with that business. Businesses are responsible for handling this information in line with applicable law.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time from the Profile screen in the app.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, role-based access controls and secure payment processing. No method of transmission is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact page.

Children's privacy

Velra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use of Velra after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
